Ich besitze diese Uhr nun schon seit ein paar Jahren und trage sie sehr gerne.
Das Gehäuse ist sehr gut gemacht, die doppelstufige Lünette (Glashaltering aud der Vorderseite) gibt der Uhr eine elegante Note, während der Flankenschutz, der die Krone schützt, einen leicht sportlichen Character mitbringt. Das Zifferblatt ist nicht jedermanns Sache, da es durch die Oberflächenstruktur je nach Lichteinfall unterschiedlich reflektiert. Man könnte es in etwa so beschreiben: Wird die Uhr leicht gekippt, dreht sich optisch dieser spiegelnde Effekt. Die Zeiger und die aufgesetzten und somit erhabenen Ziffern sind gebläut, also nicht nur einfach lackiert. Die Leuchtmasse ist bei meinem Modell perfekt aufgetragen, trotz der relativ großen Fläche. Die Uhr leuchtet im Dunkeln sehr gut nach. Die blauen Ziffern und Zeiger geben einen hervorragenden Kontrast zum silbernen Zifferblatt, die Uhr wird damit hervorragend ablesbar.
Zu dem besitzt die Uhr eine Gangreserveanzeige zwischen der 7 und der 8. Die Funktion ist vergleichbar mit der Tankuhr in einem Auto und beantwortet die Frage: Wie lange läuft die Uhr noch, sofern sie nicht weiter aufgezogen wird? Die Ausführung dieser Anzeige ist im Vergleich zu den insgesamt weltweit sehr wenigen Modellen, die das gleiche Uhrwerk benutzen, sehr stimmig ins Gesamtbild der Uhr integriert. Es ist eine schöne und nützliche Zusatzfunktion. Jeder Käufer dieser uhr darf sich sicher sein, eine relativ seltene mechanische Uhr zu besitzen, die jenseits der üblichen 3-Zeiger-Datums-Modelle liegt.
Das wissen die Hersteller – und langen bereits hier was den Preis angeht schon relativ kräftig hin.
Die Uhr besitzt einen Glasboden. Damit kann man dem Werk mit automatischem Aufzug (Energiezufuhr durch die natürliche Armbewegung) beim Arbeiten zusehen. Das Werk kommt aus der Schweiz und ist ein ETA 2897 (Basis: ETA 2892-A2). Es ist schön geschliffen und besitzt die blauen Schrauben. Der Gehäuseboden ist verschraubt, die Krone ist es nicht.
Gehäuseverabeitung ist sehr gut und bietet insgesamt nur sehr leichte Schwächen, die ein normaler Kunde nicht erkennt und damit sind sie vernachlässigbar.
Jede Uhr ist einzeln nummeriert.
Das Lederband ist Alligator (mit Artenschutz) und der Käufer sollte sich bewußt sein, dass 169 Euro für ein Band dieser Güte bei Junghans zu bezahlen sind. Es ist relativ flach ausgeführt und trägt sich alles in allem sehr gut. Das Oberleder ist gut abriebfest, das Unterleder zieht den Schweiß zu sehr ins Band. Das Band wird damit, im Vergleich zu anderen Bändern, am Innenleder zu schnell brüchig. Der eigentliche “Haken” der Uhr ist versteckt, der Käufer wird ihn erst sehr spät entdecken: pro Seite sind zwei (!) Stifte notwendig, um das Band am Gehäuse zu befestigen. Diese Lösung bietet zwar eine “doppelte” Sicherung und damit wird auch gewährleistet, dass das Band am Gehäuse bezüglich der Form immer richtig anliegt, es klappt sozusagen nicht weg – nur: Es gibt keine Ersatzbänder von anderen Herstellern. Natürlich kann man “normale Länderbänder”, die wie üblich nur mit einem Stift befestigt werden, dran machen. Damit liegt das Band dann aber nicht mehr so schön an der Uhr an, es ist dann halt wie bei jeder anderen Uhr mit Lederband.

Die Faltschliesse ist von guter Qualität. Sie ist signiert, könnte aber einen Tick massiver ausgeführt sein.
Hinweis: Eine Faltschließe hat gegenüber einer normalen Dornschliesse zwei Vorteile: Sie schont das Band an der Stelle, wo es mit der Schließe in Kontakt kommt und die Uhr kann nicht bei geöffneter Schliesse vom Handgelenk fallen. Für denjenigen, der solche Schließen nicht gewohnt ist, ist es am Anfang etwas umständlich, die Uhr anzulegen aber das gibt sich ganz schnell. EIn Metallband ist zu dieser Serie nicht verfügbar.

Da die Uhr einerseits elegant ist und dennoch einen leicht sportlichen Charakter hat trägt sie sich zum Anzug ebenso gut wie zu Jeans und Freizeithemd.

Wie bei allen mechanischen Uhren mit Zusatzfunktion: Seien Sie sich bitte bewußt, dass ein Service (zerlegen, reinigen, ölen, zusammenbauen) nicht ganz billig ist (mehrere hundert Euro) und dies bei täglichem Tragen alle 5-7 Jahre durchzuführen ist.

Tolle Uhr für Aufsteiger oder Menschen, die das besondere suchen zu noch bezahlbaren Preisen.

5 Sterne, da der Preis immer noch moderat ist, die Uhr aber einen hohen Gebrauchswert hat.
